Wesleyan Christian 1-0 on Gridiron
Zero week has begun, with many high schools kicking off their regular season football schedules on Friday, but there is one final in the area to go over already.
Wesleyan Christian opened up its season this past Friday, a week early. And the Mustangs took care of business big time.
Wesleyan Christian pounded Immanuel Lutheran 50-0 in its first game under Curt Cloud. Cloud is in his second stint as head coach of the Mustangs. Cloud recapped the ballgame and talked about the upcoming contest for WCS in his Coach's Corner interview.
That victory has already given Wesleyan Christian the same number of wins as it had last year. The Mustangs went 1-11 in 2016.
Wesleyan Christian is at Depew on Friday for its second contest of the season.
