The latest update to the Tulsa World high school football rankings sees some change across the area but Pawhuska still remains the top dawg in Class A. The Huskies beat Hominy 64-24 on Friday night. The Bucks were previously ranked tenth but fell out of the polls with the loss. Pawhuska wide receiver Dalton Hurd is up for TW player of the week after catching eight passes for 178 yards and two touchdowns.(vote here)

In Class B, Barnsdall drops four spots to No. 10 after a loss to Summit Christian on Friday. In 2A no area teams were ranked but Dewey’s next opponent, Adair came in at No. 6. The Doggers travel to play the Warriors on Friday having dropped five straight in the series.

Bartlesville also was ranked No. 10 in 6A-II out of the 16 total teams. The Bruins are 1-2 after falling in the last minute to 5A No. 4 Collinsville in week 3 action.
