WCS Tough Task at Barnsdall

Another local boy's basketball team that is starting to find its groove is Wesleyan Christian.

The Mustangs will have a tough test on Thursday evening on the road at Barnsdall. WCS blasted Wynona on Tuesday, winning by 52 points, 73-21. Wesleyan Christian is a Class B school, but just like their football coop partner Copan, the Mustangs are having to play much bigger schools in their non-conference schedule with many 2A teams littering the schedule.

In his second year, head coach Kameron Nettleton talks about his team thus far this season.

Thursday's game against Barnsdall is the final contest for both Wesleyan Christian and the Panthers before the holidays.

If Barnsdall can take care of business this evening against the Mustangs, it would go into Christmas break undefeated. Barnsdall is currently ranked at No. 17 in the state standing at 8-0.
