Tough Test for BHS Football

If the Bruins didn't know before, Bartlesville will have a pretty good idea of where it stands with the best of 6A-II after Friday night.

BHS travels to Bixby to take on the Spartans in one of the most anticipated matchups of Week 5 across the state. Bixby is 3-1, with its only loss coming to Jenks in Week 1.

It will be a 7:00 kickoff, 6:30 pregame on KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3. It will be streamed online at BartlesvilleRadio.com, and on mobile devices on the BartlesvilleRadio app, available for free on iTunes and Google Play

Bixby boasts one of the better quarterback and running back tandems in the state with Tanner Griffin under center and Nic Roller running the ball out of the backfield. Roller has averaged 230 yards per game thus far in 2015. However, an injury kept him out the Spartans game against Claremore last week. It is unclear whether he will be available against Bartlesville.

Nonetheless, Bartlesville head coach John McKee says his team feels confident that they can win if they take care of their own business. He says he is excited for the BHS seniors to have an opportunity take on the state's best.

You can hear off of McKee's comments on the replay of the John McKee Show, and in his Coach's Corner
