Bartlesville High had another split evening at Muskogee, with the Lady Bruins winning and the Bruin boys losing on Tuesday.

On the girl’s side, BHS handled a Lady Rougher team that had only one win on the year entering the game. Final score was 66-42 with BHS winning by 24. Bartlesville lead by only one at the start of the second quarter, but that is when the Lady Bruins would put it on. This steal and bucket by Trinity Parker just before halftime extended the Bartlesville lead to 15 at halftime.

The victory gives the Lady Bruins win No. 20 of the season. Bartlesville is 20-0, and is now only three games away from finishing the regular season undefeated. BHS was led in scoring by Jena' Williams, who finished with 23.

On the guy’s side, Bartlesville probably let one slip away. The Bruins were within one or two possessions the entire second half, but could never get over the hump against the Roughers, Muskogee handed Bartlesville the loss, 64-58. BHS had the ball down by two or three several times in the third and fourth quarters, but couldn’t ever tie or take the lead. This bucket from Tayo Dina had the Bruins rolling early in the fourth.

Dina finished with 28 points. Bartlesville is 8-12 on the guy’s side.

The Bruins were ranked at No. 20 in the state in Tuesday's OSSAARankings.com poll.

Both BHS teams are off until Friday when Jenks comes to town for a double-header. The final three games of the year for Bartlesville are at Bruin Fieldhouse.
