There will be some more athletic activities for Bartlesville Public Schools on Monday, as BPS will have some tryouts for some varsity squads.

Both softball and boys soccer are holding those events.

Bartlesville head boy soccer coach Anthony Tucker talks about what he and his guys have been up to since the Pandemic started and their spring season abruptly ended back in March.

Tucker said that when he heard that Jenks, Broken Arrow and some other 6A schools were allowing tryouts this summer, that he wanted to make sure that Bartlesville did not fall behind.

Tucker says that new athletic director Thad Dilbeck has been a great asset thus far, and that he is looking forward to safely getting to have some guys back at Custer Stadium the next couple of days.

Tryouts will wrap up for Bruin soccer on Tuesday.
