The 2015 Sandy Koufax World Series wrapped up with the title game on Sunday afternoon.

The Dallas Tigers took home the championship, beating the Nashville Knights 13-4. Dallas finished the tournament at 5-0.

The win for the Tigers wrapped up the 18-game event over five days at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium. Dallas coach Todd Troxler says he was impressed with the event and the city of Bartlesville.

The Tigers played 75 games together this summer, with the season culminating in Bartlesville. Troxler says the event couldn't have put a better cap on the season. He also adds that it leaves the players with a great impression of baseball as a sport.

Tournament organized Debbie Mueggenborg echoed the thoughts of Troxler. She says the tournament went off without a hitch, and even got a little help from Mother Nature toward the end.

In addition to the venue and the quality of the event, Troxler said he was impressed by the little details that his players got to enjoy. Little league baseball doesn't usually have regular field maintenance or public address announcers.

Overall the participants and organizers of the event were pleased with the product. Mueggenborg says she can envision Bartlesville keeping this event for a while.
