For the fourth straight summer the Sandy Koufax World Series is coming back to Bartlesville.

The tourney kicks off on Wednesday morning at Bill Doenge Memorial Stadium. B’ville has been home to the event since 2013. The economic impact of it has been measured as close to one million dollars in the past. Seven of the eight teams that will be in the tourney have already been set. Teams are from Bartlesville, Nashville, Chicago, Puerto Rico, Troy, Washington, and New Mexico.

The full schedule will not be set until the eighth team is designated.

Tournament organizer Debbie Muggenborg says she always hears good things back from coaches, players and parents from participating teams.

Volunteers are still needed for the event. You can sign up to volunteer at this link. There are several spots available.
