Rematch of Nowata v. Barnsdall on Tuesday
Another big-time area high school hoops matchup on Tuesday is a rematch from earlier in the season, as Nowata will host Barnsdall.
The Ironmen had their way with the Panthers during the last matchup, beating Barnsdall 92-30. Nowata set several records for recent seasons in the contest, for margin of victory and for 18 three-pointers made.
Nowata head coach Gary Hollingshed says his guys are hard to guard when the offense is clicking.
The Ironmen are up to No. 12 in Class 2A’s ranking on the guy’s side, they are 6-1. Barnsdall stands at 0-4 on the season.
This is a matchup the two girl’s teams were unable to play because of COVID-19 issues during the last meeting.
