Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball came away from its longest road trip of the season with a disappointing result. The Eagles lost two of three ballgames against York College over the weekend.

OKWU dropped the first game of Friday’s doubleheader 13-7, before rebounding for a victory in the night cap, 9-6. The Eagles were the shut out on Saturday for the first time all season. Head coach Matt Parker isn’t worried about the losses.

The Eagles drop to 31-4 on the season with the two losses. They are 17-4 in Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference play, which ties them for first in the conference with Friends University.

Wesleyan is currently ranked No. 4 in the latest NAIA poll with new rankings set to come out on Tuesday.

OKWU is scheduled to host Randall University for a non-conference double-header tomorrow at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium starting at noon.
