OSSAA to Hold Press Conference on Fall Sports

The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association is holding a press conference on Thursday morning to talk to statewide media members about fall sports in the state.

Reports on Tuesday state that the OSSAA has been consistently committed to moving forward with athletics this fall, and there will be no special announcement before the press conference, which will give media members a chance to ask questions of Executive Director David Jackson.

The news comes before Oklahoma City Public Schools, the state’s largest district, decided to go 100-percent virtual for the first two months of the fall semester. No official word on how that will affect those schools activities.

Almost all other districts across the state, especially locally, have committed to try to have in-person learning to start the fall semester next month.
