It was a historic night in Bartlesvile as Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles and Lady Eagles played their first KCAC games against Bethel College.  It was a clean sweep for both OKWU teams. The Lady Eagles won 97-83 while the Eagles won 98-81.

The Lady Eagles got started early as they led 24-16 after the first period, but it was the second unit for OKWU that sparked their way towards their first KCAC win.  Cheyenne Been led the Lady Eagles with 22 points, making 6 of 10 from the three-point line.  Emily Martin came off the bench and finished with 12 points.  Kayla Morgan and Susan Ageson finished with 11 points a piece while Patience Gitau had a double-double, 10 points and a game high 11 rebounds.  Lauren Ulrich led Bethel College with a game high 28 points.

It was a tale of two halves for the Eagles.  In the first half, the Eagles shot outside and took a 43-39 lead in the locker room, and only attempted three free throws going 2 for 3.  In the second half, the Eagles went inside and finished the game shooting 88 percent from the foul line.  Brieman Alexander came off the bench and led OKWU with a game high 21 points and making 5-three pointers.  Chance Houston finished the game with 20 points.  CJ Ross had 18 points and 8 rebounds while Gerald Thomas added 11 points and 7 rebounds.  Bethel College was led by Ray Jon Craig with 19 points and 10 rebounds.  Both teams shot the ball well.  The Threshers shot 43 percent while the Eagles shot 42 percent from the field and 40 percent from the arc.
