OKWU Sweeps Bethany On The Road

Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball is back in a groove after sweeping Bethany in Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference series. The Eagles won on Friday in a doubleheader, 9-2 and 2-0 over the Swedes.

Eagles pitching threw three complete games on the set. Michael Anderson gave up just two unearned runs in first game. Tyson Cronin follow that up with a two-hit shutout to complete the sweep. OKWU pitchers have tossed 13 complete games in 28 contests this season.

Ben Replogle led the offensive charge in game one with two hits and two RBIs. In game two, the Eagles had just two hits for themselves as they capitalized on four Bethany errors for their two runs.

The Eagles went 4-1 on the week. Wesleyan is 23-5 overall with a 2.5 game lead in the KCAC standings.
