Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles baseball team is just one win away from advancing in the NAIA World Series as they won 8-6 to Davenport, Michigan in the NAIA Regional Tournament.

The Eagles led 3-0 thru three innings when Davenport came back, scoring two runs in the fourth inning and three runs in the fifth to take a 5-3 lead.  OKWU would regain the lead by scoring three runs in the bottom of the fifth to take a 6-5 lead.  The Eagles scored again in the seventh and the eighth innings.  Davenport tried to make a comeback in the top of the ninth, but only scored one run which wasn't enough as OKWU survived.  Jacob Ficklin got the win on the mound while CJ Gregory got the save.  Will Price at the plate went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI's while John Davenport went 3 for 3 with a RBI.

The Eagles are 49-13 on the year and will take on Davenport for a winner take all game for the NAIA Regional Championship game Friday at Noon.  The winner advances to the NAIA World Series.
