Oklahoma Wesleyan University Lady Eagles softball team extended their winning streak to 11 straight as they swept Southwestern College Wednesday afternoon by the scores of 6-1 and 1-0.

Four OKWU batters finished the first game with two hits a piece.  Britney Howard went 2 for 3 with two RBI's.  Jayci Wang went 2 for 3 with two RBI's.  Michaela Shouldis went 2 for 3 with a double and Kierra McFadden went 2 for 3 with a RBI.  Ashleigh Capps pitched seven complete innings and got the win, giving up a run on three hits and struck out six SWC batters.

In the second game, OKWU's only run came in the bottom of the sixth and that was enough to get the sweep.  Makayla Kelly got the win as she pitched a three-hit shutout.  McFadden went 2 for 2 with a double.

The Lady Eagles improve to 19-14 overall and 6-0 in KCAC play.  OKWU will next play on Thursday afternoon as they will host Oklahoma City University for a double header.  Game time is set for 2 o'clock.
