Both the OKWU men's and women's basketball teams have risen to the top-half of the Kansas Colligate Athletic Conference standings after sweeping McPherson in a double-header on Saturday.

It was a sweep at the Mueller Sports Complex. The women won 76-64. The Lady Eagles improved to 9-3 in Conference play with the win. That is still good for a tie for 2nd place in the KCAC. Tiffany Rieger led OKWU with 26-points. She was 10-16 from the field.

Meanwhile the Eagle men got a blowout over McPherson, winning 83-67. They are now 7-5 in KCAC, tied for 4th place. OKWU hit 14 three-pointers in the victory. Wesleyan was led by KJ Malveau who had 20 points and was 7-13 from the field.

Isaac Rowe had a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards.

Both Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball teams are off until Wednesday, when they are back at home against Friends University. You can listen to OKWU basketball on 99.1 FM - KPGM.
