The old win streak is over, and now OKWU baseball will try to start another one on Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles fell in game one of a three-game set to Tabor College on Friday afternoon at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium. Tabor topped OKWU 6-4.

The Blue Jays led 3-0 after the first half inning and would never trail from that point forward.

Wesleyan managed only five hits in the game. Ryan Sandifer went the full nine innings, giving up nine hits, striking out eight and walking two. All six runs Tabor scored were earned.

Oklahoma Wesleyan falls to second place in the Kansas Colligate Athletic Conference will the loss. The defeat also ends a 14-game Eagle win streak. The last time Wesleyan lost was on Feb. 14 to Sterling College.

OKWU will finish up the series against Tabor on Saturday afternoon with a double-header beginning at 1:00 PM - also at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium in downtown Bartlesville.
