Both Oklahoma Wesleyan basketball teams opened up their second semester play on Saturday, as the Lady Eagles and Eagles split at Tabor College.

The Wesleyan men have continued their surge toward the top of the Kansas Colligate Athletic Conference standings, as the Eagles have won nine of their last 11 following a 2-2 start to begin the year.

OKWU downed Tabor 81-68 in Hillsboro. Brooks Haddock again led the way with 18, and was one of three Wesleyan men in double-figures. The Eagles led by 12 at halftime and finished with a double-digit win as well.

The women were not as fortunate, as OKWU fell to Tabor 62-49.

Both clubs are back on the road again on Wednesday at Bethel.
