OKWU Baseball Takes KCAC Crown

The Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball team knotched big-time another accomplishment on Sunday. 

The Eagles won the Kansas Colligate Athletic Conference Tournament going away. They beat Tabor in the tournament’s title game on Sunday afternoon, 11-3. The four wins for Oklahoma Wesleyan in the tournament came easy.

It beat McPherson 16-8, Friends 14-7 and Sterling 18-5 en route to the title game. The tournament was held in Great Bend, Kansas. 

OKWU now owns the KCAC regular season and tournament championships. 

Now, it's on to the big one, as Oklahoma Wesleyan enters the NAIA Tournament at 48-9.

The Eagles have won seven games in a row. They will win enter the NAIA Tourney as one of the hottest teams in the county. 

Oklahoma Wesleyan hosts its first-ever NAIA regional at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium in Bartlesville starting on May 15.

The NAIA will release the regional pairings and seedings on Thursday. Four other teams will be sent to Bartlesville for that regional, with the winner moving on to the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho.
