OKWU Baseball Takes Care Of Crowley's Ridge

Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles baseball team is off to a good start in the NCCAA Regional Tournament at Shawnee as they defeated Crowley's Ridge 9-0 on Tuesday morning.  OKWU scored four of their nine runs in the bottom of the second inning to advance to the next round.  Hugo Lemus went the distance and got the win on the mound.  Lemus gave up five hits and struck out five batters.  Scott Weaver went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's.

Eagles are now 39-21 this season.  OKWU will play Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 against the winner of Southwestern Christian University or Ecclesia College.  The Shawnee regional is being played at Oklahoma Baptist University.
