OKWU Baseball Take Two From Central Christian

Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles baseball team improved to 21-6 overall and 4-2 in MCAC play as they swept Central Christian 14-1 and 16-2 Friday afternoon at McPherson, Kansas.  In the first game, the Eagles scored five of their 14 runs in the top of the fifth inning and out hit Central Christian 11-4.  Central Christian committed four errors.  Sam Haynes went the distance and picked up the win.  In seven innings of work, Haynes gave up a run on four hits and struck out four batters.   Zair Koeiman had a huge day at the plate as he went 3 for 4 with two homeruns and 7 RBI's.  Jeff Butler, Austin Murphy, and Will Price each had two hits. 

In the second game, the Eagles scored eight of their 16 runs in the top of the third inning and out hit Central Christian 14-6.  Central Christian committed six errors.  Hugo Lemus pitched six innings and got the win.  Lemus gave up two hits and struck out 10 Central Christian batters.  Jeff Butler went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI's while Avery Flores went 2 for 4 with a RBI.
