OKWU Baseball Selection Show

Thursday is a big day for Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball, as the No. 12 Eagles will find out where they are headed in the NAIA Regionals.

OKWU has officially punched its ticket to the national tournament with titles in both the Kansas Collgiate Athletic Conference regular season and tournament.

Wesleyan will find out its paring at 4:00 PM during the selection show, broadcasted live on the NAIA Facebook page.

Despite the ease that Oklahoma Wesleyan went through the KCAC, as Wesleyan won the conference by five games, and did not lose a single game in the conference tournament, head coach Kirk Kelley says the gauntlet has adequately prepared his team for its next big challenge.

The NAIA Tournament is comprised of nine five-team regionals, which will be double-elimination tournaments. The winner of the regionals will head to the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho. The Eagles last went to that event in 2017 after winning its own Bartlesville Regional.

We will have news and reaction of OKWU in the NAIA Tournament on Thursday evening after the brackets are announced.
