OKWU Baseball Gets Road Win

Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles baseball team traveled to Wichita, Kansas to take on Friends University Tuesday afternoon and took care of the Falcons with a 7-2 win.  OKWU scored three of their seven runs in the top of the first inning and never looked back.  Friends University committed three errors while the Eagles committed one error.  Jeffery Deavenport got the win for OKWU.  In seven innings of work, Deavenport gave up four hits, walked two, and struck out one Falcons batter.  At the plate, Austin Murphy went 2 for 5 with a double, a triple, and a RBI.  Jeff Butler, David Espinoza, Avery Flores, Will Price, Zair Koeiman, and John Davenport each got a hit.

The Eagles are 28-7 overall this season.  Next up for OKWU will be Friday and Saturday as they will host Central Baptist College in a four-game set.
