OKWU Baseball Fall To Oklahoma Baptist
Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles baseball team took on Oklahoma Baptist University in the NCCAA Regional winners bracket finals Friday afternoon at Shawnee. The Bison took care of the Eagles 8-0. OBU scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth and three more runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to take care of OKWU. The Eagles were out hit 12-5. Trevor Archenbach went 2 for 4 at the plate. CJ Gregory took the loss on the mound to drop to an 8-6 record. In seven innings of work, Gregory gave up eight runs on 11 hits.
OKWU will turn around and play Dallas Christian in an elimination game Friday evening. The winner will play OBU for the NCCAA Regional Championship Saturday at Noon.
