OKU Football Still Searching for First Win

Oklahoma Union football has struggled early on in the 2018 season. After the Cougars were on the doorstep of the playoffs a year ago, the team is still looking for its first win of the year heading into week 5.

The Cougars are 0-3 thus far and offense has been a major point of struggle at times. OKU is averaging just 11 points per contests with 19 points in the most recent loss to Rejoice Christian being the highest output on the season. Cougars first-year head coach Stephen Trammell wants to see his team continue to get into more manageable down and distance situations.

Oklahoma Union has a chance to get in the win column this week with a district matchup with Ketchum. The Warriors are 1-3 on the year with a 12-8 win over Chelsea in the opener being the lone bright spot. Since then, Ketchum has been outscored by its opponents 139-6.

Both teams enter the matchup at 0-1 in district play. Action from Ketchum starts at 7 p.m. on Friday.
