Nowata's Season on the Line in Regional Consolation Bracket
High School basketball playoff action continues on Thursday. The Nowata Ironmen have a do-or-die ballgame against Colcord in a regional being played at home. The Ironmen lost their district playoff contest to Ketchum, 51-39.Nowata made just one three-pointer in the contest. Nowata head coach Gary Hollingshead stated that his team had an uncharacteristically poor shooting night and he expects the offense to rebound.
Nowata is 15-7 on the season. The Ironmen need to find the rhythm they had early in the year with the season on the line. Colcord is 5-18 on the year with a 95-44 loss to Oklahoma Union on in the district playoffs on Monday.
No radio coverage for the Ironmen on Thursday. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m.
