Nowata To Face Washington In 2A Quarter Finals

The Nowata Ironmen will put their 12-0 record on the line Friday as they will travel to Washington to take on the Warriors in the Class 2A Quarter Finals.  This is the first time since 2004 Nowata has played in the Quarter Finals and the first time since 2010 Washington has been in the Quarter Finals.  Nowata is coming into Friday night's game after a 33-27 win against Vian.  Here's Nowata Ironmen head football coach Matt Hagebusch.  This is the first meeting between these two schools.  According to Hagebusch, Friday night's game will be the biggest game so far this season.  Washington is 11-1 overall and they are coming into Friday night's game after a 33-26 win against Chisholm.  Kickoff is 7:30.  You can hear the game on KRIG 104.9 FM starting at 7 o'clock.  Adam Hooper and Tim Howell will have the call.  The winner will face the winner of the OCS-Colcord game next weekend.
