Nowata Football Hosts Salina
We are one day away from high school football starting across Green Country, as several teams will kick off their 2017 seasons with zero week action on Friday night.
Nowata will have a tough task to begin the year, as the Ironmen continue to break in first-year head coach Jeremy Gray. This is Nowata's third coach in as many seasons. The Ironmen open up the year at home against Salina with a 7:00 PM kickoff. Gray talks about that matchup.
Salina went 5-6 a year ago. Nowata won that game on the road this past season, 39-14.
Nowata is not on the radio this week, but we will have season long coverage of the Ironmen on KRIG 104.9 FM. Max Gross will be in Dewey tomorrow night, we will have a preview of the Doggers for you tomorrow.
