New Phase of Bruin Football
Bartlesville High football is continuing to work into the offseason, as it will be another chapter toward the 2020 season when school starts up after Winter Break.
Jason Sport will be entering his second season as head coach this coming fall. Sport will be the first coach since John McKee in 2015-16 that will have been at Bartlesville for two consecutive full seasons. Sport says he is aware of the inconsistency and its effects on a team. He says he wants to keep steady hand at the top of the Bruin program.
Sport says that out of the holidays he plans on increasing the competitiveness of the Bruin’s offseason program. He has an idea to assign players to teams and assign points to certain goals in workouts and in the weight room.
Sport has also taken on more administrative duties in the BHS athletic department as Bartlesville Public Schools is still searching for a new athletic director
