Some big news in the Oklahoma Wesleyan Athletic Department - as there has been a shake-up in the basketball coaching positions.

OKWU Athletic Director and men’s basketball coach Mark Molder is taking the women’s basketball coaching job at Oklahoma Wesleyan. Molder spent three-years as the Lady Eagles head coach from 2011 until 2014. Molder then took the men’s coaching position – now he is returning to coach the women at OKWU. Molder talks about the decision.

The head women’s basketball coaching spot came open earlier this week when former Lady Eagle coach Jason Jeschke resigned to take the top assistant position at South Dakota. Now Molder, who is still athletic director at OKWU, will be searching for a new men’s basketball coach. Molder says that search is already underway.

Once again, Mark Molder to switch from the men’s basketball coaching position to women’s basketball, as the Eagles now search for a men’s coach.
