Lady Bruins - Undefeated in 2018
2018 will go down in the record books for the Bartlesville girl's basketball team.
The Lady Bruins polished off an undefeated regular season with a win over Union on Friday at Bruin Fieldhouse. BHS blasted Union 65-33 to win their No. 23 in a row. The Lady Bruins finish the first regular season undefeated in varsity basketball history at BHS. Bartlesville pounded Union from the very start, the outcome was never in doubt. 23 up and 23 down for the Bartlesville girls, who will next host regionals on Thursday at Bruin Fieldhouse against Muskogee. 8:00 PM start time for BHS in the first round against the Lady Roughers.
On the guy’s side, the Bruins dropped their fourth in a row heading into the postseason. Union beat Bartlesville 82-47. BHS couldn’t get off the mat early, a big Union run at the end of the first quarter put the game out of reach.
Bartlesville will advance to regional play in Broken Arrow this coming Friday – the Bruins will take on Stillwater in the first round at 6:30 PM.
