Lets go ahead and try this again – high school basketball regionals set to begin on Friday across the state, as all games on Thursday were postponed because of the icey weather.

At Bartlesville High, the Lady Bruins will finally get their playoff matchup started against Muskogee. The 6A girls regional will play semifinals on Friday at 6:30 PM between Edmond Deer Creek and Ponca City, with Bartlesville taking on Muskogee at 8:00 PM. The regional title game will be Monday night at 7:00 at Bruin Fieldhouse.

The Bruin boys, who were scheduled to start postseason play on Friday– will take on Stillwater in the first round on Saturday night at 6:30 from Broken Arrow.

The Bartlesville girls have gotten a little bit of an increase in production offensively from Avery Allen over the past few weeks. The junior guard has led BHS in scoring a couple times over the last four games. Lady Bruin head coach Krista Binam talks about Allen’s contributions on offense.

We will have that game for you, 7:30 pregame on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3. Also streaming online at BartlesvilleRadio.com and to your mobile device on the Bartlesville Radio App.

We will also have coverage of the Bruin boy’s on Saturday night against Stillwater. All those schedules are online at BartlesvilleRadio.com under the sports stories.
