Lady Bruin Volleyball Has Returners
Week No. 2 of fall practices are underway for softball, volleyball and cross country for area high schools.
Lady Bruin volleyball is getting set for scrimmages in about 1.5 weeks.
First year head coach Jenn Ward takes over a program that has struggled a bit in recent years. BHS has not finished above .500 in the past four seasons, and its highest win total during that span was 13 back in 2016. The Lady Bruins have some returners from last year’s squad, Ward talks about who’s back.
Mia Otten made the US High Performance Team for her age bracket, which Ward says is a great accomplishment for a sophomore.
Bartlesville will start scrimmaging late next week, with games coming during the week of August 12.
