Lady Bruin Softball Starts Monday
The fall sports season is quickly approaching, as volleyball, softball and cross country can begin practicing on Monday across Oklahoma.
The Bartlesville High softball program is under new direction, albeit with a familiar name. Kyle Minton takes over the program, he was previously an assistant on both the baseball and softball teams at BHS.
Bartlesville has a mix of young and old back in 2019 – there will be quite a few new faces, but Minton says the upperclassmen for the Lady Bruins should provide them with a foundation this year.
Minton says that the first few months of his tenure have been looking internally to gauge improvement and success. He has set specific goals to quantify success in those categories both throughout the season and before the campaign.
Minton went on to say that he thinks the culture change has helped – he mentioned that the softball field has been full with voluntary workouts this summer
