Jason Sport Show Previews Bixby
Bartlesville head football coach Jason Sport joined us at Dink’s Pit BBQ on Wednesday night to talk Bruin football, as BHS likely has its toughest game of the season on Friday.
Bixby visits Custer Stadium for what will be the Bruins final game against the Spartans for at least two years. They graduate to 6A-I football next year due to larger enrollment numbers.
BHS ended up getting overwhelmed in the second half in a 42-7 loss to Collinsville last week. However, Bartlesville started fast. The Bruins led 7-0 after their first drive of the game. That continues a trend from the last two years where Bartlesville can score early in games.
Sport credits offensive coordinator Jason Munoz, and says adjustments will help second-half scoring.
Of the five touchdowns Bartlesville has scored this year, four have been in the first half.
