Although four games under .500, Bruin baseball has a chance to end on a high note over the final couple weeks of the 2018 season.

Bartlesville High baseball is back in action on Thursday in a non-district game at Booker T. Washington. The Bruins are trying to gain a bit more momentum going into their final district series of the season next week against Shawnee.

A major highlight for Bartlesville this year has been freshman Jakob Hall. ‘

Hall has been a tremendous everyday player in the Bruin lineup offensively, hitting .339 at the top of the batting order. Hall has especially shined pitching – with a dazzling curveball and changeup, Hall leads the Bruins in wins, innings pitched, strike outs, and ERA as starter. Bruin head coach Spence Rigdon says Hall has been doing this long before his now.

Bartlesville at Booker T. Washington, 4:30 first pitch from the North side of Tulsa – the Bruins are 9-13 but have won three of their last four.
