Jakob Hall Commits to ORU
Some big Bartlesville High recruiting news broke on Tuesday night, as Bruin senior baseball player Jakob Hall announced on Twitter that he has verbally committed to Oral Roberts to continue his career on the diamond.
Hall had previously committed to Connors State College in June.
ORU, an NCAA D-I program, represents a much bigger opportunity. Hall has operated as a starting pitcher, middle infielder and top of the lineup bat for the Bruins over the past three years.
He missed the entirety of this past spring’s abbreviated Bartlesville season, his junior campaign, with a hip injury. Hall was able to play over the summer, and turned some heads with a great performance at the Oklahoma State Games in Enid.
Bruin head coach Cody Price was on hand for the outing.
Hall joins former Bruin AJ Archambo, who is also a pitcher on the Golden Eagles roster. Archambo had made it into the ORU starting rotation before an injury, and then the coronavirus, stopped college baseball this past spring.
More on Jakob Hall committing to Oral Roberts later this week.
