Indian's Tryouts Should Produce High Quality Players

Tryouts are upcoming for the Doenges Ford Indians on Saturday morning, as Legion baseball is just around the corner.

Bartlesville’s longstanding American Legion Baseball program will have players out to Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium for the tryouts 10:00 AM. The team is always comprised of the best of the best area high school players and some college freshman coming home for the summer. Anthony Towers is back for year No. 8 managing the Indians. He talks about the summer of 2018.

Despite tryouts coming up on Saturday, the Indian’s will not start their season until the first week of June. Towers said the schedule is close to being completed, although it is not out publicly yet. It will likely feature many of the same team’s Bartlesville played the past several summers. Towers talks about the kind of players he is looking for this summer.

KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3 will once again carry the Indian’s starting in June.

The schedule will be posted online at BartlesvilleRadio.com when it is available.
