Bartlesville’s summer baseball team is going to finally make its debut Friday afternoon and evening, as the Doenges Ford Indian’s are scheduled to play four games over the weekend in Muskogee.

Bartlesville will take on Shawnee at 3:00 PM at Bacone College. The Indian’s will turn right around and play Ft. Smith, Arkansas at 7:00 PM at Muskogee High School.

This will be the earliest start for the Indian’s since the 2015 season. Historically the squad has begun on Memorial Day weekend, but has not for the past few seasons.

Head coach Anthoney Towers is back to lead the club, with some familiar names as assistants. Former Indian and Bartlesville Bruin Logan McNeill will be helping along with Jacob Ruiz. Two other familiar names to Indian’s fans will be spending some time around the program as well this summer.

Friday's Indian’s games will be on the radio for you. Both games at 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM will air on Sports Talk 1500 AM and 99.1 FM – KPGM. The evening game will have a conflict with Bartlesville High graduation – thus the move to KPGM.

Both Saturday games (1:00 PM and 9:00 PM) will air on KWON - AM 1400 and FM 93.3.

Don’t forget you can listen to both those games online as well and on the Bartlesville Radio App.
