Indian's Return to Bill Doenges on Tuesday

The Doenges Ford Indian’s are finally back at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium for four games over the next two days.

Bartlesville’s summer baseball team is in its final three weeks of the regular season, and will face a daunting schedule on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Indian’s will host Ft. Smith for a double-header at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM on Tuesday afternoon – that was a game pushed back two hours from the original schedule.

Bartlesville will then have Three Rivers into town for a double-header on Wednesday night at 6:00 and 8:00.

Despite a tough 2-24-1 record, there have been bright spots for the Indian’s this summer. One of them is Shawn Sutton. The Caney Valley, Kansas Bullpup has been tremendous both at the plate and in the field. Sutton has doubled in six of his last seven games, and currently leads the Indian’s with a stellar .392 batting average. He has been locking down the center field position on defense the past couple weeks as well.

Both Indian’s games on Tuesday afternoon can be heard on Sports Talk 1500 AM and 99.1 FM – KPGM.
