Indians Finish Up Missouri Tournament

The Doenges Ford Indians wrapped up play in the Branson Tournament in Central Missouri on Saturday evening with win and a tie in their final two games.

The Indians tied Ozark, Missouri 8-8 in the nightcap to finish off a 2-2-1 tournament and stand at 8-4-1 on the season. The Indians beat Carl Junction 11-10 in their first game of the day on Saturday.

Dustin Weisenbach had four hits in those two games, as he continues his hot streak at the top of the lineup to begin the year. The Indian’s scored nearly five runs per game during their five contests in Missouri.  

Bartlesville’s American Legion baseball team gets back to regular season play starting Tueday evening with a double-header at Pittsburg, Kansas.

That will be a 6:00 and 8:00 first pitch from the Sunflower State and we’ll have both those games for you on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3.
