The Doenges Ford Indian’s lost a pair of games on the road at Fort Smith, Arkansas last night. Bartlesville fell in a couple run-ruled contests. 14-0 in game one and 21-4 in game two.

The Indians fell behind 12-0 after the inning in the opener and the game was effectively over from. In game two, Bartlesville mounted a threat in the fourth inning. The Indians trailed 8-4, but found themselves with the tying run at the plate with the bases loaded. However, Hayden Wood struck out and that was as close as the Indians would get. Fort Smith would then take advantage of Bartlesville’s pitching woes to score thirteen runs in the bottom half of the fourth and ultimately end the game early.

The top performance from the Indians came from Hunter Harlan, who went 3-for-5 at the plate while also catching both ends of the doubleheader. Bartlesville drops to 1-11-1 on the 2019 season, and is still searching for its first win in the state of Oklahoma. The Indian’s are right back after it again this evening, with a double-header at Three Rivers.

First pitch at 6:00 this evening from Catoosa High School. Those are two more games we will have for you tonight on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3. BartlesvilleRadio.com and on the free to download Bartlesville Radio App.
