Indians Begin State Thursday
After six days off the Doenges Ford Indians are finally back in action in their postseason tournament.
Bartlesville will take on Ardmore around Noon or so from Coweta High School in its first game of the event.
The state championship is a six-team double-elimination tournament. If the Indians beat Ardmore on Thursday they would play Three-Rivers later in the evening - about 8:30.
If Bartlesville loses against Ardmore the Indians would face elimination in a game sometime on Friday morning.
We will have the Indians against Ardmore for you on Thursday afternoon. First pitch should come between 11:45 AM and 12:30 PM or so on Sports Talk 1500 AM – KPGM and FM 99.1.
Max Gross will travel to the south of Tulsa and have that call. Bartlesville stands one game beneath .500 at 19-20-1 on the season, but the Indians are riding a three-game winning streak going in to the tournament.
The Indians most recently swept Okmulgee in a double-header on Saturday. .
