The Doenges Ford Indians are back in action on Wednesday for the beginning of a busy final week of the season.

Bartlesville will host Three Rivers at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium. The double-header will be the first two of eight games for the Tribe over the next five days.

The Indians are 18-21 on the summer.

Bartlesville is coming off a heartbreaking loss in the finals of the Connie Mack AABC State Championship on Sunday. Despite the defeat, Bartlesville has found its way into the finals of both their big tournaments this summer.

Indian’s manager John Pannell says that it was a successful weekend.

Bartlesville will fight to get over .500 in its final eight games, and Pannell also mentioned the opportunity many of the older Indians will have to play in front of college coaches.

A handful of talented Indians will look to have good performances while several college coaches make special trips to downtown Bartlesville to recruit.

First pitch at 6:00 PM, with game two at 8:00 - we will carry both contests on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3. You can watch both those games as well on KWONTV.com.

Don’t forget Thursday night – is KWON Night at the Ballpark, free admission, cheap concessions, cash prizes and freebies at 6:00 PM for the double-header - Prizes will be handed out during game one.
