The Bartlesville Doenges Ford Indians improved to 17-11 on the year Saturday evening with an 8-3 victory over Ark City in the Glen Winget Tournament.  Although Bartlesville won the game, the Indians were short of advancing to the Championship bracket due to runs allowed.

The Indians scored five of their eight runs in the bottom of the fourth and never looked back.  Ark City committed seven errors.  Derek Hill got the win on the mound as he improved to 2-0 on the year.  In six innings of work, Hill gave up three runs on five hits, walked five, and struck out seven.  Jacob Ruiz was hot at the plate as he went 3 for 3 with a triple and a RBI.  That was the first triple for Ruiz this season. Brady Kokojan hit his third triple this season while Logan McNeil and Zac Boyes each got a double. Joe Jones and Chase Hayes each got a single.

The Indians will play in the consolation bracket Sunday afternoon at 12:30 at Doenges Stadium.
