The Doenges Ford Indians are finally back in action on Tuesday evening.

The Indians will renew their summer rivalry with Pittsburg American Legion Post 64. Tuesday's contest has been changed to a double-header at Bill Doenges Memorial Stadium. It was originally on the schedule as a single nine-inning game.

Bartlesville is 15-18 and will be looking to soak up the experience and expertise of their college players over the final two weeks of the season. Many of the Indian’s older guys will be too old to play starting next summer.

The college guys have driven the offense in 2020, with Dakota Ward, Harold Borg, Calvin Johnson and Andrew Harden holding all four of the top spots for base hits. They have accounted for 116 of the Indian’s 244 hits so far this summer.

First pitch at 6:00 PM for the double-header against Pittsburg, both games can be heard on KWON – AM 1400 and FM 93.3.

You can watch Tuesday's games as well on KWONTV.com.
