Huskies Prepare for Second Half of Season

The Pawhuska Husky basketball team got off to a late start this year because of the success the football team had in the Class A state playoffs. Because of this late start, coach Jake Christenson kept his team busy during Christmas break and he believes it will pay off.
The Huskies pride themselves in playing as quickly as possible and it is the defense that Christenson is most proud of so far in this young season.
Pawhuska hosted Agra on Friday and the Huskies will make a road trip to Dewey on Monday. That is a game you can hear on Real Country KRIG 104.9 starting at 8 p.m. Next weekend, Pawhuska will be in the Locust Grove tournament. Their first round opponent on Thursday is Verdigris.
