Huff Begins Look for New Coaches
The search for a new Bartlesville High girl’s basketball coach and baseball coach has begun, as the Bruins are searching for replacements for both Krista Binam and Spence Rigdon.
Both have accepted other jobs at other Oklahoma Schools over the past few weeks. Binam as the girl's basketball coach at Metro Christian and Rigdon as Athletic Director at Collinsville High.
Rigdon had been with Bartlesville for nearly 20-years and one was of the first people in the athletic department that BHS Athletic Director Ryan Huff got to know. He served as an assistant under Rigdon for summer baseball several years ago. Huff talks about learning underneath Rigdon.
As far as the coaching search goes, Huff wants to act quickly on both openings. The June school board meeting would be a good time to have two new varsity coaches approved. Huff says that the support coaches get at Bartlesville is a drawing point for any position.
Huff says he has already gotten dozens of applicants for both jobs.
