There was quite a bit of Oklahoma Wesleyan news over the weekend, as some Eagles fall sports did well up in Kansas.

First off, both the women and men’s soccer teams won at McPherson College. The Lady Eagles won 3-0. Meanwhile the men topped McPherson 5-2. Both the OKWU soccer programs continue to do tremendously on the year.

The men are ranked No. 3 in the country at 11-1-1 on the season. The women are ranked No. 13 at 11-1-1, as well. Both those clubs will be at home in Bartlesville on Wednesday evening. Sterling College comes to town for a double-header. We will have more on that matchup and OKWU soccer throughout the week.

The Oklahoma Wesleyan volleyball team had a pretty good weekend up in Hutchinson at the KCAC Fall Festival. The Lady Eagles won their final two matches of the weekend on Saturday against both Southwestern College and Bethany College. The Lady Eagles are 12-3 in conference play. They are next in action on the road at Ottawa on Wednesday at 7:00 PM.

And speaking of Oklahoma Wesleyan. Both the women and men’s basketball programs will be traveling up to Wichita, Kansas on Tuesday for KCAC media days.

Basketball season is just around the corner for both the clubs, as they will tip things off at home on Oct. 27.
