GAC Begins Thursday
Thursday marks the beginning of the Great American Conference men’s and women’s basketball tournaments in Bartlesville – at Bruin Fieldhouse.
The tournament has grown every year in the past six that Bartlesville has hosted the event – However there is still one thing tournament organizers would like to see more of... Attendance from locals.
As fans of the respective GAC schools become more used to Bartlesville and the town's attractions – those outside fans embark on the event with an increasing rate every year, but local attendance is still something the tournament is working on. Here is Bob Pomeroy of the Bartlesville Sports Commission.

The Great American Conference is an NCAA Division Two conference with teams in Oklahoma and Arkansas.
